Women have special health needs and the physicians at Women's Health Specialists are able to provide you with care in a warm and friendly environment.  From routine exams to surgical procedures, Women's Health Specialists will take care of your unique health needs.

ROUTINE HEALTHCARE
Outside of pregnancy, the physicians and staff at Women's Health Specialists are there to provide for the specific healthcare needs of women, including annual physical exams with pap smears and breast exams, cancer screenings (such as skin cancer and rectal hemoccults for colon cancer), and specialized care for gynecological health problems.

CONTRACEPTION
If now is not the right time to become pregnant, the physicians at Women's Health Specialists will discuss birth control options with you to find the method that best fits your needs and lifestyle.

For every stage of a woman's life, there's Women's Health SpecialistsOBSTETRICS
The staff of obstetricians (physicians specializing in the care of pregnant women), nurses and support staff provide continuous care throughout the pregnancy, during the birth, and after delivery.   Preconception counseling is available to help ensure a healthy start to the pregnancy.   Throughout the pregnancy, Women's Health Specialists will be there for routine care as well as for unexpected problems that may occur.  The physicians at Women's Health Specialists frequently work in conjunction with specialists in Bowling Green and Nashville to manage high-risk pregnancies and complications.  The physicians on staff will discuss delivery options, including pain control methods available during labor to make the delivery as pleasant as possible.  When the time comes to deliver your baby, both mother and child will be well cared for by your Women's Health Specialists physician and the accomplished staff at The Medical Center.  Delivering babies since 1926, The Medical Center is the region's most preferred and most experienced hospital in giving mothers and babies a healthy start.

MENOPAUSAL TREATMENT
As women go through this change in life, there are many problems that can develop.  Some can be uncomfortable or annoying, while others can potentially lead to severe medical problems.   The physicians at Women's Health Specialists can discuss these changes with you, as well as treatment options, including hormone replacement therapies, as well as newer non-hormonal treatments that are becoming available.  Your physician will discuss your options with you, and together you will decide on the treatment best suited to your individual needs.

SURGICAL TREATMENT
Some problems are best treated with surgery.  The physicians at Women's Health Specialists are trained gynecological surgeons.  From outpatient laparoscopic procedures (Band-Aid surgery) for pelvic pain, infertility, or tubal ligation to hysterectomy, the physicians at Women's Health Specialists will discuss surgical options with you in detail to determine what best fits your needs.

Our financial staff will bill your insurance and work with you to arrange financing for services that may not be covered by insurance.
