Commonwealth Health Corporation operates six hospitals throughout the region including acute care, critical 
access and long-term acute care. 

The Medical Center at Bowling Green

The Medical Center at Bowling Green is a 337-bed acute care hospital that offers the region’s most comprehensive 
services including a Primary Stroke Center, cancer treatment center, obstetrics and neonatology, orthopaedics, 
behavioral health services, surgical weight loss program and neuroscience services. The Medical Center also offers 
a full range of heart services including an accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI and the region’s only open heart

The Medical Center at Albany


Effective April 1, 2016 Clinton County Hospital became The Medical Center at Albany following acquisition by Commonwealth Health Corporation. CHC assumed management of Clinton County Hospital on February 5, 2016. The hospital is a 42-bed, not-for-profit acute care hospital serving Clinton and surrounding counties in Kentucky and Tennessee. The hospital provides inpatient and outpatient services including 24-hour emergency services, diagnostic imaging, rehabilitation services and a sleep center.  Learn more.

The Medical Center at Caverna

Effective January 1, 2016, Caverna Memorial Hospital became The Medical Center at Caverna. The hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital serving Hart and surrounding counties in Kentucky. The hospital provides inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour emergency department, a skilled medical care and rehabilitation program, and two rural health clinics. Learn more.

The Medical Center at Franklin

The Medical Center at Franklin is a 25-bed critical access hospital serving Franklin and Simpson County in Kentucky 
and northern Tennessee. The hospital provides both inpatient and outpatient services including diagnostic imaging,
surgery, rehabilitation services and 24-hour emergency department. Learn more.

The Medical Center at Scottsville

The Medical Center at Scottsville is a 25-bed critical access hospital serving Scottsville and Allen County. The 
hospital offers 24-hour emergency department, diagnostic imaging, rehabilitation services, specialty clinics and 
rural health clinics. Also connected to the hospital is the 110-bed Cal Turner Rehab and Specialty Care. Learn more

Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital

Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital is a 28-bed continuing care/long-term acute care hospital which 
provides continuity of care for patients with medically complex conditions and multiple chronic conditions which 
require long-term stays. Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital is located within The Medical Center at
