CASE MANAGEMENT

PURPOSE

• Inform you, the employer, of the medical status of your injured employee.
• Facilitate the diagnostic, treatment, and rehabilitative process.
• Simultaneously manage all treatment processes to ensure cost effectiveness.
• 24-hour injury treatment available through Corpcare, Urgentcare, and after hours through The Medical Center (Bowling Green).
• Provide comprehensive occupational and physical therapy though Bluegrass Outpatient Center.

PROCEDURE

• We maintain direct communication with you, the employer, regarding:

1. Diagnosis and recommended treatment;
2. Work status;
3. Physical restrictions;
4. Follow-up and missed appointments; and
5. Need for specialty referral (within 48 hours).

BENEFITS

• The employer is able to maintain control over each case by knowing the current status and projected time frames.
• The employer has a central contact for specific medical questions and concerns regarding the case.
• The employer is informed of missed appointments that may directly affect employee workers’ compensations benefits.
