CASE MANAGEMENT
PURPOSE
- Inform you, the employer, of the medical
status of your injured employee.
- Facilitate the diagnostic, treatment, and
rehabilitative process.
- Simultaneously manage all treatment processes
to ensure cost effectiveness.
- 24-hour injury treatment available through
Corpcare, Urgentcare, and after hours through
The Medical Center (Bowling
Green).
- Provide comprehensive occupational and
physical therapy though Bluegrass Outpatient Center.
PROCEDURE
- We maintain direct communication with you, the
employer, regarding:
- Diagnosis and recommended treatment;
- Work status;
- Physical restrictions;
- Follow-up and missed appointments; and
- Need for specialty referral (within 48
hours).
BENEFITS
- The employer is able to maintain control over
each case by knowing the current status and projected time frames.
- The employer has a central contact for
specific medical questions and concerns regarding the case.
- The employer is informed of missed
appointments that may directly affect employee workers’ compensations
benefits.
